Essential Driver Training Lesson Five

Lesson 5 of EDT

Correct Positioning

This lesson will cover you driving in a variety of road conditions, giving you enough chances to position your vehicle correctly while driving on the street, in traffic lanes, turning left and right, driving on roundabouts, emerging from junctions, reversing round corners and the turnabout, parking and stopping in traffic.

At the end of the lesson, you should show that you can consistently maintain a safe position on the road and perform your maneuvers in challenging situations.

Obviously it's not possible to cheat the outcome successfully without the required practice. A lot of our pupils and their sponsors avail of our non-EDT support lessons in order to get the content of the lesson covered successfully. Our support lessons takes the pupil out of the pressured EDT syllabus and into a comfortable, relaxed environment while carrying out the same content. This is recommended for pupils struggling to get through required practice inbetween EDT lessons.

And in order for you to successfully complete EDT Lesson No. 5, it's all about practice before and after the particular lesson.

The next EDT lesson after this is EDT 6: Anticipation and Reaction.
